Hey, nerds! Who's got two thumbs, speaks limited French, and hasn't cried once today? This moi

Hey ya'll,

So as you have probably noticed, I have very random titles. The first previous title came from the song "Semi Charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind. This title is from 30 Rock. It is when Liz Lemon comes into office and life is going good for her, so she yells this phrase to her team of writers. However, it also works well for this blog because life is going good for me and I do speak limited french, and I haven't cried in awhile.

Today was a Wednesday so it is one of my busiest days. I have calc at 10:10. Calculus lecture today wasn't so bad! I actually wasn't itching to get out of that room like I usually am, and didn't have to write with my left hand just so I could be entertained enough to not fall asleep.

And yes, it is necessary for me to do that.

So then after calc, I go one building over to go to physics lecture. The problem with physics now is that since I read the chapter before lecture, it is boring since I already have been introduced to the material. But hey, my professor is a pretty funny dude and very socially awkward. At least he's entertaining.

After physics, I had lunch with Natalie and then it was up to my room to study. I have a midterm (my physics professor calls it a quiz...we think its because he is from Eurpoe) on friday and THEN I GO HOME!!!!!!! Well really I go to Eau Claire to watch my sister swim and then I go home for the weekend!!

When 4:15 rolled around, Geena and I went to the Mayo building for a Biomedical Engineering Lab Tour of the Heart Surgery department thing (that may not be what it's actually called). Cardiac Physiology Lab...there we go.

So that was very fun. I got to be in the room where the first ever open heart surgery took place, and where the first pacemaker was put to test on a small boy. I got to see 3 human hearts and numerous swine (pig) hearts that were beating outside of the body.

After that, I went to Noodles & Company for dinner since I didn't really have much time between the Lab and Working at TCF. I had a very enjoyable training session today! The tour guides got to go on a scavenger hunt around the stadium by ourselves (meaning we were altogether but did not have our supervisory with us!) It was very fun and we only got lost once :)

Not too bad being that TCF covers 1.2 million sq. feet.

Then we each gave tours of various locations and practiced presenting all of the facts! Very fun!

I had an especially enjoyable time talking with Dylan! He is so fun to talk to and he is going to help me in my pursuits to become an Orientation Leader for the class of 2014! I am very excited! THANK YOU DYLAN!!!!!

Now I am back in my room (which is rearranged because I do that a lot) and finished my homework for tomorrows calc quiz and group section of my physics midterm. All I have left is to read over my Lab Report to make sure everything looks good, and print it! Then to bed because tomorrow and Friday I have 8:00 am class.

Ugh

Thanks for reading!

Till next time,

Elizabeth Sara
