Hey ya'll

I am so glad its the weekend, but also very sad that tomorrow is sunday :( This weekend I am home and it feels sooooo good. I truly love being home! More so that last year. By far

So I left campus on Friday around 1:30 pm. I got to Eau Claire around 2:45 and just watched tv in my sister's and nicoles room until my parents arrived around 4:15. We went out to eat at a mexican place (surprise right?) and I got to see some of the UWEC campus and the house my sister will be living in next year!

It was really weird to see that house because it is dawning on me that I am not a kid anymore. I am going to be 20 years old in June and I am not looking forward to it. And the fact that I will be owning a house and having a real job to support me financially is kinda freaking me out. Granted, I will be in school until August of 2015, but the years where you have midterms every week don't tend to go by slowly.

I am going to be 20. Gross.

Two of my very very good friends (Gina and Sarah) are turning 20 this coming weekend! I got their presents today and I think they will flip out. I always get very excited to give presents to other people and tend to not wait until the actual day arrives. I seriously just want to give their presents to them as soon as I get back on campus, but I will have to hold back.

Anyways so today was a good day!

I got to see Alissa play flag football (the cutest kid from summer swimming lessons at memorial pool) and got to play with her after her game while the dad chatted with some parents. After that I visited my grandma in the nursing home. She was very pleasant but was a bit confused. We updated her caring bridge site tonight as well, so all of our family members can stay informed. My family played cards with her (with my dad's help of course) and fed her lunch and just talked with her. Ahhh she was funny...quote from her.

My dad (tom): Alright ma, I think you should pass.
Grandma: Oh okay
Tom: You have to tell them you pass.
Grandma: Alright well I'm gonna grind. (We were playing whist)

My mom (nancy): Okay Veronica the girls and I are going to go shopping.
Grandma: Oh okay.
Nancy: We'll be back tomorrow. We will be in touch
Grandma: My people and your people will get together.

The visit made for some good laughs, and I am glad to see that see is in good spirits.

Then shopping! I got Gina's present first and then we went to kohl's where I got Sarah's present and work pants for my job as a tour guide. Then we went to Woodmans (grocery store) and the Food Co-op. I needed food!!!

After we got back to my house, we ordered carry out from Olive Garden!

Yum.

The only problem was that I was full after eating the salad. The dinner part is in the fridge and I will have it tomorrow night.

I have tomorrow to do homework and the not-so-fun-part (more homework). I leave tomorrow around 3 and then its back to reality and the stress and more stress of college. Gah.

I'm going to watch House.
